Thoughtfully crafted, our Nature's Retinol Facial Serum contains a blend of certified organic borage oil, milk thistle seed oil, concentrated botanical extracts and bakuchiol (nature's retinol). These natural and organic compounds work synergistically to delay the visible signs of aging and are proven to have wrinkle-fighting properties resulting in reduced surface area wrinkles and the creation of new collagen.
The Babchi (Bakuchi) plant is of immense biological importance as it is naturally rich in the powerful antioxidant, Bakuchiol. The benefits of Bakuchiol are very similar to those of Retinol but without the downsides. Unlike Retinol, Bakuchiol is photochemically and hydrolytically stable and can be used during the day.
Bakuchiol is known to reduce the appearance of fine lines and face wrinkles by stimulating collagen production. It also helps improve uneven skin tone by reducing pigmentation and promoting skin elasticity and firmness. Bakuchiol is also useful for acne prone skin as it prevents the process of lipid peroxidation in the skin's sebum by keeping the acid mantle active. This reduces the overproduction of bacteria on the skin's surface and reduces the keratinization of cells.
Bakuchiol is the first natural alternative to Retinol without having any of the negatives associated with retinol. Bakuchiol modulates retinoid-binding and metabolizing genes. It significantly improves multiple dermal and dermo-epidermal junction genes/proteins. Bakuchiol stimulates Collagen I, III and IV and is clinically proven to reduce multiple signs of aging, including roughness and dryness, fine lines and wrinkles and improvement in skin tone, elasticity and firmness, increasing radiance and brightness.
Bakuchiol is an effective treatment for vitiligo and related skin diseases and conditions. It shrinks white spots on skin and reduces pigmentation. Lupine is a legume whose seeds are very high in protein and contain secondary oil and minor biologically active components A study that included 25 volunteers, ages 45- to 65-years-old, tested a lotion with lupeol for 89 days. 92% of the volunteers noticed improved firmness of the skin and 72% noticed reduced sagging of the facial contour.

Directions:
- Our facial serum is designed to be applied to freshly bathed skin. Using a toner after washing and before moisturizing would also be beneficial.
- To apply, dispense the desired amount of serum into the palm of your hand. Remember, a little goes a long way.
- Use the "paint brush" method to apply or rub hands together to spread the facial serum then apply to skin.
- Using circular motions gently massage into skin until absorbed.
